Aims

Day care is a child’s first chapter into educational activities. We therefore take this very seriously and aim to provide creative play in a framework of planned sessions in different kinds of play on a daily basis.

Boys and Girls are to be treated without discrimination and both to be encouraged to explore different types of activities and toys provided. Thus helping to improve and develop social skills and creative development.

We aim to provide good substantial and varied meals and to promote healthy eating. Parents will be provided with information on a daily basis on the activities and well being of their children.

Safety is of utmost importance to us and the Nursery will offer the children a safe and secure environment.

We aim to provide the very best in pre school care.

Objectives.

Our objective for Oaktree Nursery is to provide a stimulating and happy environment for the children entrusted into our care. Throughout the day activities are provided by our trained staff to enable the children in our care to reach their full potential. A wide variety of play equipment is available to all our children, as well as having the companionship of other children and nursery workers. This will increase their independence and confidence and prepare them for full time schooling.

The Nursery has a good security procedure known to all the staff and also the advantage of security cameras running throughout the day.

Healthy snacks and meals with good variation will be provided, taking into account other individual dietary needs. Daily progress reports will be on show at the end of each session for parents, providing information on mealtimes, behaviour and progress, this will also enable the parents to feel involved in their child’s day care routine.

Working together we are confident that we can achieve our aims to a high standard.

Aims and objectives (The Den)

‘The Den’ aims to offer children of compulsory school age a safe environment which is stimulating with age appropriate activities, We aim to provide a high quality service for families with working commitments who require child care around normal school hours.

Our objectives are to prepare children for the beginning of their school day and ensure they arrive at their destination safely and to collect children at the end of the day and return them safely to the out of school club.

On their return we will provide a nutritious meal and if parents wish allocate a quiet, stimulating environment for them to complete any reading activities or homework. After this the children can then enjoy our structured recreational activities, stimulating computer activities or relax in our quiet area with a book etc.

The out of school club has a mini bus, which we use to transport the children to and from school. Full seat belts are fitted on all seats and the mini buses are maintained to a high standard.

At Oak Tree Day Nursery we recognize our parents needs for quality and reliable out of school care. We aim to satisfy these needs with a high quality service provided by qualified, committed staff in a stimulating and exciting environment.
