Outdoors
We have a large grassed area where the children have races, play with balls,
hoops, quoits, in the summer we take the sand pit and water tray into the garden.
There
is a hard standing area where the children can play on bikes or cars, chalk on the
floor, play in the sand pit or have the drawing easels out.
The hard standing area
is undercover which means the children can play outside and get some fresh air even
if it is raining.
The time in the garden is as important as time in the play room
and staff prepare activities each week for out door play.
