Activities
Throughout the year we work for two months at a time on different topics.
A news letter is given to parents so they can see the activities we will be doing
and we will also suggest activities and songs that parents can try at home with the
children to develop the link between home and Nursery.
Daily activities include:
Creative
times
Paining, drawing, scissor work, music and movement,
role play activities, junk
modelling.
Games times
The children play games to help them understand taking turns,
most games help the children to learn colours, numbers, shapes, sequencing etc.
Learning
times
To help the children develop their concentration span we have story times, singing
sessions and as the children move to our older groups they have writing practice
times.
Free play times
We encourage the children to develop their confidence and thinking
by allowing them to choose the activities they would like to play with at certain
times of the day..
