Children in the Bluebell room are aged between two and a half and three years.

During their time in this room we spend time preparing the children for school.

Staff in this group work towards potty training the children, encouraging them to talk about how they or feeling or what their needs are.

Children are encouraged to know where their own name is for their coat peg, put their own coat on at play time and hang their coat back up at the end of play.

At mealtimes children wash their hands use a plate with a knife and fork, feed themselves and then clean their face with a face cloth.

The routine for these children includes a discussion time where the children are encouraged to talk to the rest of the group about their experiences, a learning time when the children and staff will talk about the topic work and discuss activities the children want to participate in and what pictures they want to make to display on the walls.
